Pre-notify Import & Export documents to Portbase

Via Melding Container Achterland, carriers report import & export documents in advance.

Import Documentation Pre-notification

The service Notification Import Documentation makes it possible to electronically pre-notify all numbers of customs documents relating to import cargo at the container terminals (deepsea, shortsea) and ferry terminals via one entrance. The cargo can then leave the terminal without paper customs documents. Everyone can work more efficiently. This applies to the submitting importer, forwarder, customs agent or carrier as well as to the terminal. Without pre-notification via Notification Import Documentation, the cargo at the terminal will come to a standstill.

Import Status

Importers, forwarders, customs agents and carriers can use Import Status to see in real time whether the mandatory pre-notification of import documents has been made for the cargo arriving via shortsea and ferry terminals. Without such a pre-notification, the load or driver is stuck at the terminal.

Export Documentation Pre-notification

Exporters, forwarders, customs agents and (where applicable) their carriers can easily report all their customs export documents to the container terminals (deepsea, shortsea) and ferry terminals via the service Notification Export Documentation. Five basic cargo details are sufficient. At the terminals, this results in fast, reliable service.

Track & Trace Export

From arrival at the container terminal (deepsea, shortsea) or ferry terminal up to and including departure by seagoing vessel, you can track your cargo in real time via Track & Trace Export. Carriers are also asked to check via Trace & Trace Export whether customs documents have been pre-notified there before a driver leaves for the shortsea or ferry terminal. If this has not happened, the driver will not have access.
